On May 14th and 15th, 2022, KNIFE will take place, the blade fair in Solingen (www.knife-solingen.de). On these days, access to the museum is only possible with the fair ticket.
Tickets can be purchased on the days of the fair at the German Blade Museum and Theater und Konzerthaus Solingen and are available online in advance: theater-solingen.de.
Guests can get their hands on original historical pieces in the museum on both days, take part in public guided tours and visit the open forge house.

We have wheelchair access.
It is possible to drive directly up to the museums entrance with a car or a bus.
The entrance is free of all impeding barriers and there is an elevator in the building. There is also a wheelchair in the museum that can be used if needed.
If you would like to visit the “blade museum for children” and are in need of wheelchair access please notify us ahead of time.
